Most people or organizations that failed did so because they didn’t have the will to execute on things they knew to be right in the fear of not wanting to offend anyone.
If you seek to be in the good books of everyone, you will fail. Jesus described the desire to please all as the trait of false prophets. A prophet is not first a speaker but a seer. This means your desire to please everyone in other to remain “popular” will lead to visual defects. Making tough decisions more than any other quality defines the great leader. For God said to Joshua “Be strong and courageous.”
Truth is, people detest weakness in leadership. They want empathy but not weakness. The mix is one of compassion but strong values and the courage to execute. The reason the lion is called the king of the forest is not because it is the strongest but it acts with boldness.
