An error in our thinking on the matter of hearing the Rhema (a word from God on the situation in our lives) is that we want to use God to get blessed and obtain victory. We are solely thinking about ourselves.
God’s thoughts are this, “through this situation in the life of my child an opportunity has presented itself to get certain things done which have always been on the table.” Our needs are met as a by-product of the fulfillment of God’s purpose through us. Finding that purpose is hearing the Rhema.
For Peter who toiled all night and caught nothing, Jesus saw it as an opportunity to catch multitudes of men through them. Catching fish was a by-product of the vision God had for them. Your healing is a by-product of what God wants to do through you and by reason of his assignment on your life, you need a healthy and strong body.
