To those who say skill isn’t the important thing

To those who say skill isn’t the important thing but grace, I ask what does it mean to carry grace for something? Next time you are boarding a flight kindly ask for a pilot who doesn’t necessarily have flying skills but says he is graced to do it, then we will understand your message better.

Grace when it’s upon a man to do a thing, manifests itself as superior skill. If we don’t make this clarification, people will place a distinction between their “church life” and their everyday engagement.

Sounds more like using religious terminologies to maintain control over the minds of people. When a man has the grace of God upon him in any area, the Spirit of God teaches him things about it. When he speaks and acts, he will with superior skill.

Grace doesn’t come upon skill, grace produces exceptional skill unattainable by human ability.
