The refusal to take correction can be a very damaging thing. It wastes talent, makes life barren, and invites famine to the soul. Its only benefit to the man is that it makes him protect his pride but only for that man to find him all alone asking himself where and when did it all go wrong.
The ground beneath such an individual shifts without his or her knowledge and moves to others with humility.
