Why rejection from men is so important to your future and many are ignorantly intimidated by it. To go into life and succeed at what God has called you to do, you need to advance with a strong degree of confidence (not hubris nor arrogance).
This confidence can only be founded upon an experiential knowledge of God’s love for you. You must know the love of God to be able to stand fearlessly before adversity and evil.
This is what is referred to in the book of Hebrews 13:5-6 “……. for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
The one major way to have a first-hand experience of the love of the Father is to go through some form of rejection in the hands of men and then turn to God in faith as your resort. The outcome of this experience will make you understand the limitations of man and the mindfulness of God towards you as you experience his power in a personal way.
Every single person has at one time or another experienced rejection and still will, how you handle it will make all the difference.
The victorious outcome of that situation where you may have first thought this is a decline or great loss, will give you a powerful experience of the love the Father has towards you which in turn will make you fearless. Remember it is perfect love that casts out fear.
Luke 6:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven…”
When you experience rejection, it may hurt but many things which bring real progress first hurt. God has just created an opportunity to visit you through that crack and the results that will come your way if you yield to him with songs of deliverance, singing to his love, mercy and faithfulness will blow open your mind.
Isaiah 63:16
“Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.”
Do not curse or get offended, worship and give him thanks for suffering in the hands of men for through it great power will be wrought in and through you. Many spend their energy and money looking for acceptance from men when the waters of life that will bring an undeniable distinction id flowing freely in His presence.
Psalm 27:10
“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.”
If you are still battling with the pain of rejection at some point or place in your life, I suggest to enter into a posture of thanksgiving to God for it. Don’t try to process and analyze why it happened just worship him praising and thanking God for it and watch to see the power of God bring something unusual out of it.
