When I became the president of our campus fellowship back then in the University of Lagos around about 1989, I asked a senior colleague in ministry Rev Kola Ewuosho (sitting to my far right) in this photograph or to the far left of what you are looking at) how best to administer the finances of the fellowship.
He gave me very good advice. I asked because he had done what I was doing and was now established as a minister on the outside
He told me, you spend money best when after you are gone coming generations know cash passed thru someone’s hands. Spend on what will outlive your tenure, that those coming after will have those things to use.
This is why real estate is the real estate.
