The most difficult spiritual discipline but with the greatest rewards is to make sure every conscious thought you entertain, supports the outcome & direction intended by God for your life. To think according to appearances is easy but to think according to the truth revealed is life.
We fail to receive answers to our prayers because we do not appreciate the role the mind plays. Paul, in speaking on “answer to prayer” said God will bless you with a peace that passeth all understanding and he then said, above all think only on things that are pure, honest, of good report, etc
