One of our major challenges as believers is in trying to exercise faith independent of prayer. We believe because it is written that something has been given, we need not pray about it but just confess it into existence. The primary vessel in writing the new testament did not follow this principle. He still prayed about things given in Christ.For Example: Paul wrote “..the love of Christ is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost….” yet he prayed to the Father that “….your love will abound yet more and more in knowledge and judgment…” What should be done through the prayer of faith we want to do it by confessions alone.
