When we run to men seeking help from the might of man, they make promises and lure many who end up chasing shadows but when we run to the Lord the first thing he does is to remove the veil off our minds concerning that situation.
2 Corinthians 3:16
“Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.”
The adversary satan knows well that Jesus has finished the work that with every temptation of his God has provided a way of escape. Long before the need ever arose God had in Christ made provision which will exceed anything we could have thought or even asked for on our own.
His only hope is that the people of God do not see the provision God has made for that situation for the kingdom of God operationally begins in the life of a man when he sees what God is saying.
John 3:3
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
So our prayer when we turn to God in any situation is Lord open my eyes that I may see. This is why Paul prayed continuously for the Church at Ephesus that God may open the eyes of their understanding. Understanding in that verse means the mind. He prayed that their minds maybe opened to spiritual realities so that they know and recognize the reality of the unseen.
Elisha prayed this for his servant when he faced some crisis. His servant was bothered by the multitudes that surrounded them and asked Elisha about this. To this Elisha replied more are with us than with them. Elisha however knew his servant needed to see it for it to work for him.
2 Kings 6:16-17
16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
When you turn to the Lord also the veil shall be removed. When this happens as you read the Word of God with an open face you will begin to see what God has done and intends therefore to produce out of that situation. We access the spirit realm through the knowledge we receive by reading the Word of God. The veil has been placed so that when men read they do not see what God is saying to them.
2 Corinthians 3:14-15
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
In any difficulty? Then turn to the Lord and what He will do is remove the vail that you may see with your own eyes into the reality of what He has done about it. What you see no man can take from you.
